Lighting Cycle
A full 24-hour lighting cycle where you can watch the sun rise/set, and the moon and stars move across the sky.
Dynamic Tracks
Evolving over the course of a race or from session to session, the tracks in rFactor 2 have a real-time increase in grip as rubber is laid into the aggregate of the racing surface, rolling off to form marbles once applicable, based on where cars have actually driven. You can even save that layer of rubber for a future race, or even send it to a friend.
Weather
Watch the clouds roll in and the sky open up! rFactor 2 includes wet weather and a dynamic drying line based again on where cars have actually driven.
Tire Model and Tire Damage
Want the most advanced tire model in the industry? You've got it. With tire deformation and accurate contact patch modelling, the rFactor 2 tire model feels fantastic. Standard or Lifetime?Standard comes with one year free multiplayer, after that time it requires a small yearly subscription. Lifetime means multiplayer access for the lifetime of the product.

rFactor 2 is a high-end simulator that does require a relatively powerful PC. While it may run on systems close to minimum specification with reduced numbers of A.I. cars or lower graphics settings, the more you get above the recommended specifications, the better the software will run.
